Week 3 House Points Winners

Ambrosia Campus: Bunjil (blue) House with 1340 points

Arrowsmith Campus: Gawa (green) House with 3,570 points

This term, as the House Points reward, the student leaders have chosen to allow the winning House to wear their House colour on a specific day and receive a Freddo Frog. All students in the winning Houses at the campuses will receive their reward tomorrow (Friday).

Students need to come in school uniform but are welcome to come in a splash of their house colour – this can be a t-shirt, socks, hair accessories etc.

Students can come in a splash of their house colour tomorrow if they are in the winning house.

*Please advise the school if you do not want your child to receive a freddo frog.

Foundation 100 Days of School

Last Friday, our Foundation students celebrated the long awaited 100 days of school!

The students looked amazing, dressed as 100‑years‑old or wearing creations adorned with 100 buttons, beads, or stickers. During our open morning, the classrooms were busy with parents and students participating in a range of activities based around our “100 Days” theme, including snakes and ladders, writing about what they will be doing when they are 100 and counting up to 100 objects.

Thank you to those parents able to come in and watch our parade and spend some time in the classrooms during our open morning. Thanks as well for the time and effort that went into the costumes, making the students look 100 days (or years) older!

Bike Ed

Exciting News – Bike Education Program Coming Soon!

Following recent staff training, we are thrilled to announce the launch of our Bike Education Program for our year 6 students! This engaging and practical program is designed to teach children the skills they need to ride safely, confidently, and responsibly in their communities.

The program will focus on:

  • Building basic riding and bike-handling skills

  • Developing road safety awareness and understanding traffic rules

  • Promoting the use of helmets and safety gear

  • Encouraging physical activity and independence

Bike Ed is a fantastic opportunity for students to develop lifelong skills while having fun and being active outdoors. Our trained staff are excited to guide students through a series of sessions that will progressively build their competence and confidence.

Being in our first year of implementation, we acknowledge that we are in need of some essential equipment to make this opportunity possible for ALL of our students.

In particular we are on the lookout for the following items to make this program possible.

  • Second hand bicycles - preferably bikes with gears.
  • Helmets, bikes, pumps or safety gear.
  • Puncture repair kits, basic tools and maintenance equipment
  • Parent and Community support in volunteers to join local rides, provide bike checks and minor repairs.
  • Donations to support the purchase of required equipment

We would love you to get in contact to discuss ways in which you may be able to support the program.
