Parents/Carer Session
ThinkUKnow parent session will be held at the Ambrosia campus on Monday 19th August at 6pm. Topics included within the presentation are specifically aimed at educating and increasing awareness about online child sexual exploitation including avoiding inappropriate contact, online grooming, self-generated content, sexual extortion and how to get help.
Please RSVP by Friday 16th by completing the following form at this link.
Network Curriculum Day - Aug 16th
This year, all primary and secondary schools from the Mitchell and Murrindindi area are coming together to engage in a whole day of professional development. There will be a number of guest speakers and interactive sessions on Literacy, Numeracy and Wellbeing. This is an exciting opportunity for all our staff to learn collaboratively with our neighbouring schools. Please note this will be a pupil free day for students. Team Kids will be offering their vacation care program at the Ambrosia campus for all BPS students.
Evacuation Drill
Each term it is important that we practise our emergency procedures. Next Wednesday just before recess, we will have an onsite evacuation drill. Please refrain from attending the campuses during this time.
Yours sincerely,
Christine Cole

WE WANT OUR PARENTS / CAREGIVERS / GUARDIANS TO TELL US WHAT THEY THINK!
Our school is conducting a survey to find out what parents / caregivers / guardians think of our school. The Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey is an annual survey offered by the Department of Education that is designed to assist schools in gaining an understanding of families’ perceptions of school climate, student behavior, and student engagement. The survey is optional but we encourage all families to participate. Our school will use the survey results to help inform and direct future school planning and improvement strategies. All families are invited to participate in the survey.
The Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey will be open from Monday 29 July to Friday 30 August 2024.
The survey will be conducted online, only takes 20 minutes to complete, and can be accessed at any convenient time within the survey period on desktop computers, laptops, tablets or smartphones. The online survey will be available in English and 10 other languages including Arabic, Greek, Hakha Chin, Hindi, Japanese, Punjabi, Simplified Chinese, Somali, Turkish, and Vietnamese.
To complete this survey, please refer to the communication that went out on Compass on Tuesday 30 July or contact the office.
