Term 4 Week 1

Principal's Message

Dear Families,

Welcome back to school for Term 4. It is amazing how quickly the school year is passing by.

I hope everyone had a wonderful two week break and are ready for a big term of learning and exciting events. Welcome to our new students, and families, to Beveridge PS. We also have some new staff members who have joined us this term.

Upcoming Events

We have another jam-packed term of events ahead of us. We have the Division softball competition, Gr.2&3 Disco Night, Gr.3 Scienceworks excursion, Student Leadership Day, transition days, Gr.6 Graduation and excursion; just to name a few. A reminder to parents to please make sure you continue to access the Compass portal to give consent and make any associated payments.

First Aid and CPR Training

This week, and next, our staff are undertaking their First Aid and CPR training afterschool. This ensures that we have all staff trained in up-to-date processes and procedures, and therefore can respond to any incidents and/or emergencies promptly.

School Hats

A reminder that all students must bring and wear their school hat during recess and lunch time play breaks during term 4.  We do have hats for sale at both campuses if you need to purchase one. If parents are unable to attend the office to purchase a hat, you are welcome to ring through to purchase one over the phone. Hats are $15 each.

We do follow a No Hat, No Play rule and students will be required to stay indoors and/or in shaded spaces if they do not have their hat.

I hope it has been a wonderful first week back for all.

Yours sincerely,

Christine Cole
