On the 16th of October the Regional Athletics championships were held at Meadowglen International athletics track. From our school both a relay team with 4 girls Blaze B, Charlotte E, Sienna T and Evelyn L and in the high jump Thomas S competed. We all put in a great effort but unfortunately didn't qualify for the next round.
The relay team came first in their heat but unfortunately came 4th overall and Thomas jumped a personal best finishing somewhere in the middle. This marks the end of the road for Athletics competitions in 2024. Huge thank you to Mr. Rai and all the staff involved in making this possible. We are looking forward to more opportunities to compete in the future.

During our Sport lessons this week, some classes had the opportunity to attend a tennis clinic at school. The students were introduced to some tennis skills and did many hand-eye coordination activities.
The students were very happy with the clinic and some lucky students were given tennis balls as prizes.
Lincoln R from 1D was gifted a tennis racquet for his beautiful manners and showing his partner how to do some of the skills. A true reflection of our school values. Well Done Lincoln!
