Congratulations to all our students who received certificates and awards at our campus assemblies this week. Well done to our Grade 2 students who performed an affirmation song and to the grade 3 students who shared their poems with us.

Cyber Safety Police visits
This week our Grade 5&6 students had a member of the Victorian Police as a guest speaker to talk to the students to help them understand the benefits and challenges of technology, and develop critical thinking skills to identify harmful situations online as well as how to get help. These presentations aim to support positive, proactive engagement between children and young people and police. Our quest speakers will be also attending on Monday to talk to the Grade 3 and 4 students.
Do it for Dolly Day - wear BLUE!
Looking forward to seeing everyone wearing BLUE tomorrow for our school fundraiser to support Dolly’s Dream. A gold coin donation will help fund vital anti-bullying programs, education, and support services - giving families, schools, and communities the tools to prevent bullying and promote kindness.
Student Attitudes to School Survey grades 4-6
From next week all students in grade 4-6 will have the opportunity to complete the annual survey. This survey asks students questions about how much they enjoy school, how they learn best, if they are being challenged in their learning and other questions related to their overall wellbeing. The data collected will then be utilised by the leadership team to inform our future planning.
Yours sincerely,
Christine Cole

Last week in before and after school care was an absolute blast!
We kicked things off with a sunny picnic outside where the kids enjoyed their snacks under the blue sky, laughing and playing on the basketball court.
Indoors, creativity flowed as everyone got hands-on with water painting, there was more paint on the tables (and maybe on a few noses) than the paper, but the masterpieces turned out amazing!
Things got even sweeter as we transformed into little chefs: the kids whipped up fluffy pancakes and golden waffles, jiggled up some jelly, and even baked a cake! The room smelled like a dessert shop, and let’s just say, there weren’t many leftovers.
What a fun, delicious week!
