FOUNDATION
During Term Three, Foundation students will explore the Auslan alphabet and do fingerspelling, learning to recognise, produce, and understand each letter using clear handshapes and movements. They will practice spelling their own names and familiar words, building confidence in both expressive and receptive skills. Through games, songs, and interactive activities, students develop their ability to connect fingerspelling with written English letters, strengthening early literacy and communication skills in a fun and engaging way.
